He studied at the Academy of Naples, a pupil of Giuseppe Mancinelli and perfected by following the advice of Vincent Petruccelli. He preferred the framework of costumes Neapolitan and Flemish genre scenes. He participated in various exhibitions in Rome and in Naples.
His painting “A sixty years'” was purchased by the King for the Gallery of Capodimonte where it is currently located. Other works: “The mother”, “postprandial” and “A concert,” purchased for the headquarters of the Banco di Napoli; “Brother Lustig.”
