The GAM Galleria d’Arte Moderna continues with the exhibition “Adolfo Wildt (1868-1931). The last symbolist “the path to enhance the most significant nuclei of his sculptural collections.
From 27 November to 14 February 2016, the exhibition – created with the extraordinary collaboration of the Musées d’Orsay et de l’Orangerie in Paris – presents a path dedicated to the research of the Milanese sculptor on plastic and material rendering through 55 works in plaster, marble , bronze, accompanied by a series of original drawings and some works in comparison: in addition to the Vestal by Antonio Canova, works by Fausto Melotti, Lucio Fontana and Arrigo Minerbi.
The exhibition intends to place itself at the center of a historical-artistic path extended to the city of Milan, which enhances all the still existing Wildtian testimonies through a widespread thematic itinerary, with guided tours carried out in collaboration with the Italian Touring Club and in-depth appointments also shared with FAI, the Italian Environment Fund.
