Arturo Noci (1874 – 1953). Beyond Secession
November 2021
Arturo Noci, famous for his “aristocratic” Divisionism, was one of the most appreciated painters in early 20th century Italy. After the Secession years, he moved to New York in 1923, where he worked mainly as a portrait painter of the upper middle class, but also devoted himself to lyrical landscapes and refined still lifes.
