The first training received it in his hometown where he specialized incaricatures. One step further update was accomplished in hismoving to Rome where he met A.Castelli, true supporter oflandscape composition based on a study of the true in every particular.
Bruzzi also had the opportunity to get closer to N.Costa,another promoter of realism even if in a more intellectual. In 1859 he returned to Piacenza and devoted himself to portray animals and thehumility of the subjects of the country, with painting with enamelcolors and fine detail.
In the 70’s he also Macchiaioli groupconfirming his poetic realist.
