Sante (o Santo) Bertelli
Sculptor, painter, etcher and decorator was committed and versatile talent. He completed his education at first and then in Gavi Ligure in Genoa, joined the Ligurian Academy under the guidance of G. Island and G. Frascheri. Conquered the artistic board went to Rome where he measured with portraiture and religious subjects and genre.
The attention to true that distinguished him also led him to keep abreast of cutting-edge experiments of the School Grey Liguria. Also executed numerous frescoes in Liguria (San Lorenzo della Costa among others).
