Landscape painter, he abandoned a first delicate technique and distinct, for a way to greater effect, but artificial. Exhibited: “Shores of Lake Garda in the Tyrol” in Turin in 1880, and two “Landscapes”, in 1882, in Milan, “The North Sea”; “Thunderstorm at sea,” “The Roman plain”, in Rome, in 1883 “Forest oaks Roman Apennines” and “the Arch of Septimius Severus,” in Turin in 1884, “Forest”, “fresh grapes” and “dried grapes”, in Venice, in 1887. One of his paintings of good works, “The summit of Monte Rosa”, is in the Galleria d’Arte Moderna in Rome.
