Luigi Steffani
He completed his training at the Academy of Brera where he soon specialized as a marine painter. Later he went to the school of Dusseldorf with A. Achenbach. In 1854 he began a long journey through Europe, bringing back those impressions that were then to be his subservient much during his fruitful career.
He started his career at Milan in 1857, the exhibition of Brera. After other trips abroad – he lived for many years in London – in 1863 took up residence in Milan, and it was the brigade of artists were making that part of the Induno, the Pagliano, Moses White, Pompeo Mariani. As mentioned, he produced much, and his works figured in several Italian and also shows in Paris and London.
