Libero Andreotti
Andreotti studied under the guidance of M. Galli in Florence and later moved to Milan, where he came into contact with the merchant Alberto Grubicy. Between 1905 and 1913 he moved to Paris where he abandoned the language of liberty to embrace the synthesis of A. Maillol.
Returning to Florence he was appointed professor at the Academy of Fine Arts. He exhibited in several Italian and international exhibitions and among his works include: L’alba, Puro sangue, Le parche, La gatta, Adolescente, Invocazione, Soldato ferito medaglia, Venditore di poponi, Giovinetta nuda in riposo, Territoriale, Popolana che saluta, Donna che si asciuga un piede, Margherita, Venditrice di limoni, Limonara, Gruppo di donna con ghindarletta, Giovane madre, Gruppo tragico, Donna nuda, San Francesco, Baccante, Danzatrice, Donna che si asciuga, Medusa danzante, La porta di casa, Sull’aia, Paola Ojetti, Busto di giovinetta, Ciliegiara, Signora con ventaglio.
