He made his debut in Paris in 1898, working in the newspaper comic ‘Le Rire’. Great personal designer in the stretch, was able to suddenly emerge. The immediate success opened the doors of all the magazines and newspapers in Paris. In 1900 began the production of the billboard, and soon there was specialized.
He had many imitators and followers. Featuring original panache, he also executed beautiful caricatures exhibited at the Salon of the humorists of Paris and one in Copenhagen. At the Venice Biennale of 1914 he exhibited the “Portrait of Paul Adam.” His works are exhibited at the Luxembourg Museum in Paris and “Self-Portrait” at the Galleria degli Uffizi in Florence.
