    Glauco Cambon

    Born in Trieste in 1875, died March 7, 1930 in Biella. He attended the courses of Monaco of Bavaria. He started his career in Trieste, with two paintings, “Portrait of Attilio Hortis” and “Music”: the latter, exhibited in Monaco in 1893, received an honorable mention.

    In 1895 he appeared in the show ordered by the Artistic Circle of Trieste and in 1907 he was welcomed at the Venice Biennale, which became a regular exhibitor. Varia is its production, from the portrait to the figure, from decoration to caricature and the billboard.

    They remember him: “Sunset on the earth seen from the moon,” painting, by Camille Flammarion, aroused great curiosity Academy of Sciences in Paris; “Horse chestnuts in blossom”, “Isolde,” “Virgin of the Rocks” and a large amount of portraits; “Ferruccio Benini”, “Emilio Zago”, and different personalities of the industry and the bank. Artworks decorative subject: “The soul and the cloud,” “The elegy,” “The Medusa” “Love renewal of life”, “harvest”.
