He completed his training at the Accademia Albertina in having as teachers G. Grosso and P. C. Gilardi, from which shots attention to the painting of the figure. Soon, however, became interested in the genre of landscape where he became a great interpreter. Particularly appreciated for its views of snow-capped Oven Graian.
