Giuseppe Romagnoli was a sculptor and was born in Bologna in 1872. Barbieri was a pupil of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. In 1896 he exhibited in Venice “Save as.” Also in Venice in 1897, “Ex Ars Natura” for which she won a prize. In 1900 he realized the cell Saltarelli for the Monumental Cemetery of Certosa di Bologna. In the same year he moved to Rome where he met and worked with Ettore Ximenes and Giulio Aristide Sartorio. He died in Rome in 1966 at 94 years of age.
