He attended the Academy of Naples, a disciple of Domenico Morelli and Stanislao Lista Gioachino Toma. Then he settled in Genoa. Artist fruitful, eclectic, exhibited in many national and international exhibitions: Venice, Bologna, Milan, Genoa, Turin, Italy, Monaco, Rome, Florence, Verona, Berlin, Paris, London, Santiago, Chile, and was rewarded in Genoa in 1892, and in Paris in 1900.
All his works are treated with vigor, both in color and form. Among the most important of these is “Doves”, exhibited in Paris in 1900, now in the Gallery of Monaco of Bavaria; “Giuseppe Mazzini” in Genoa City Hall, and one of his large pastel, “Giardiniera”, in the Art Gallery modern in the same city; “Grim dawn”, sent to Milan in 1906, and belonging to the Galleria d’Arte Moderna in Rome; “at school by the nuns” in the Gallery of modern Art in Milan.
