    Giuseppe Gherardi

    He completed his education at the Academy of Fine Arts with Daniele De Strobel and Paul Baratta. He attended a school for naked in Paris. He began his work anonymously in Paris studios. Staged its first “personal” in 1938 in Paris at the Library “Italy”. “The harvest” exhibited in the show was chosen for the Museum of the Jeu de Paume in Paris. Due to the hostility French Italian it did not get confirmation. The opera was purchased by Mussolini.

    Repatriated in 1940 after a painful odyssey in concentration camps, currently lives in Parma, where waits with renewed vigor to his favorite art. Some of his works: “Portrait of Raffaele Guariglia,” “Portrait of the poet Rivers,” “Susanna in the Bath”, “Purity” in 1937 (Collez. Mauclair Paris), “Youth” in 1937 Collez. Conte della Porta, Brussels), “The Three Marys” 1937 “After the bath”, “fertility”, “Portrait of Princess Soragna with the kids” 1941 “Marianna abandoned by Theseus,” “Portrait of the children of the Marquis de la Tour “.
