    Giovanni Guida

    Southern painter, residing in Naples.

    He exhibited a “Pompeian Bath” in Naples in 1877; in Turin in 1880 “La madre dei Gracchi”, which later also appeared at the 1881 Milan Exhibition.

    In Turin, in 1884, he had “The painting of the Queen (Luca Giordano at the Court of Spain)”; “An oriental costume”; “Costume of Casamicciola”; in Venice, in 1887, “Hunter Costume” and “Nanni or Capello or Sciaco”.

    He is a good dyeer, and an accurate and precise designer.
