He was born in Nuoro in 1907 and as a child showed passion and talent for disegno.Nipote the sculptor Francesco Ciusa, he attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. From 1925 onwards he participated in the regional and national art exhibitions, but spent most of his life in Sardinia. He set up and ran a school artisan in Nuoro 1932-1934. He organized several regional exhibitions Nuoro and those of sacred art. Among his works: “Girl of Orgosolo” 1933, “The bearer of the Cross” in 1938, “Shoeing” of 1953. He died in his hometown in 1958.
