He studied at the Accademia di Brera in Milan, a student of Mentessi Rapetti and Brambilla. He moved at a young age in Lugano, Ticino took part in the artistic life, exhibiting in major exhibitions in Switzerland. Also pictured at shows in Milan, Rome, Leningrad and Brussels. Besides the scenery, is still life, and his paintings of flowers are appreciated. It reminds one of his large painting depicting “Mesolcina” bought by the Swiss Confederation and now preserved in the Museum of Arau.
