Francesco Coleman
He was born in Rome in 1851 into a family of artists. In fact, he inherited from his father Charles and his brother Enrico the passion for painting and later the study in Rome in Via Margutta 33. His production is mainly made of Lazio landscapes which he also flanked genre and costume scenes.
Excellent watercolorist, Francesco Coleman was part of the Association of Watercolor painters and exhibited at the Society of Amateurs and Cultors in 1888, “A painting for the convent”. In the last years of his activity he also painted orientalist and neo-Pompeian subjects. He died in Rome in 1918.
