Soon he moved to Florence, where he entered the Academy of Fine Arts under the guidance of A. Rivalta and D. Trentacoste. His first style was influenced by the realism updated on an Art Nouveau style, it does not get much success.
Hence the decision to abandon the ceramic sculpture to devote himself to his native Sardinia. Dazzled by the Symbolist works of A. Wildt returns to sculpture with an avant-garde production that takes him to exhibit on several occasions.
He also produced some figures for the major project of the marble stadium in Rome. Among the works on display include: La madre dell’ucciso, Il nomade, La filatrice, Dolorante anima sarda, Affetti materni, Il cainita, La processione dei misteri, L’ucciso, Anfora sarda.
