He completed his training under the guidance of V.Volpe who introduced him to the great tradition of the nineteenth centuryNeapolitan painting from A.Mancini to M.Cammarano.
Soon he joined the group of the “Secession of the 23” and began his highly experimental stage: he assimilated the lesson post impressionist, examples derived from the exhibition in Rome in 1911 by A.Zorn toG.Klimt, and became interested in the secessionist suggestions.
