Edgardo Peralis
Edgardo Peralis, an Emilian sculptor, has made various graceful statuettes and among these notable “The Lover of ancient art”, well modeled and characteristic. This statue, cast in plaster, was featured at the Turin Fine Arts Exhibition in 1884, and was highly praised by critics.
Peralis had already made himself known at the Rome Exhibition of the previous year with the other statue “After the work”, which was also liked and was sold.
This artist made many busts and bas-reliefs, some sepulchral monuments, and other decorative and monumental works.
