Lombard portrait painter, resident in Intra. It has numerous commissions for portraits having been dedicated exclusively to this branch of art. In Milan he exhibited several times and, in 1872, had a “Portrait of a Man,” half-length, and two other very valuable portraits, as well as a very good study from life entitled “Irene”.
Another nice portrait brought to an end in 1886 by the Ranzoni is that of “Mr. Leger RS” which exposed very pleased. The Ranzoni, in the hours of leisure, is also the genre painting in his studio and has checkered and interesting studies that show him as an excellent and accomplished artist. (Source: A. De Gubernatis 1889).
