He completed his training with A. Fontanesi and then a few years later traferi ‘ to study in Paris . In 1879 he was accepted at the Paris Salon his first picture of figure three years later there appeared a large composition representing a ” folksy Carnival in Villiers-le -bel ” and another painting , ” L’école buissonnière ,” you exhibited in 1883 .
In 1884 , called to execute murals in the Palace of Turin Cova , he returned to his native city . In 1886 he made his first appearance at the Promoter , with a big ” Female Nude ” , and then, for a few years , he executed genre paintings , environment mundane , until in 1898 he was commissioned to execute, for the Palace of the Sacred Art of ‘ exhibition of Turin , a frieze in fresco , 80 meters long , which obtained successful. Since then, only in 1905 was given to the Committee of the fresco work , in the Romanesque church of San Genesio , and I waited tirelessly for a decade, doing work worthy and durable.
