    Amleto Cataldi

    Hamlet Cataldi was born in Naples November 2, 1882 and died in Rome on August 31, 1930. E ‘was an Italian sculptor and his work took place mainly in Rome. He was very active between 1920 and 1930, years in which he obtained several public commissions.

    Among his major works include: “One of Victorias” on the Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II in Rome, Four bronze groups of the new facade of the National Stadium in Rome; “Monument to the financiers who died for their country during the First World War” in Viale XXI Aprile, “Statue of Leonardo da Vinci” donated to the city of Paris from the Republic of San Marino.
