A pupil of A. Puccinelli studied at the Academy with excellent results. He treated the sacred picture, the allegorical composition, the oil portrait, fresco, tempera, crayon, watercolor. His main works are: “Portrait of the mother of Gino Rocchi” (pastel), “Purgatory” (style sec. XVI), in the hut, “St. Martin gives alms to the poor” (fresco), in the castle of St. Martin of Manzolis, owned by Count Cavazza eighteen tempera in the lunettes of the historic villa Giovannina in Cento, depicting “the rural life”; tapestries in the living room on the ground floor of the villa Eng. Angeletti, now owned by the Cassa di Risparmio di Bologna; tempera decoration with cherubs and friezes in the Royal Palace Hail.
